Peekaboo Wasp
I was walking my dog, Bentley, when I saw a paper wasp crawling on a flowering plant. I stopped to watch the wasp’s behavior as Bentley sniffed around the plant. The wasp moved slowly and occasionally peeked at me from behind the flowers.
I decided to take a photograph of the wasp. All I had was my iPhone 17 Pro Max. I wanted to see what macro shots I could get of the wasp. The lighting was good, and the colors of the scene were just right. Without any adjustments, I let this smartphone take control while I focused on composing the shot, hoping to catch the wasp looking directly into the iPhone 17 Pro Max lens.
I successfully captured the image I wanted. I am also impressed with the iPhone 17 Pro Max camera's ability to capture a clear and distinctive photograph of the peekaboo wasp. I believe smartphone cameras are a useful tool. There are times, like this one, when the results are amazing.
Oh, I forgot to mention that when I started to photograph the peekaboo wasp, Bentley decided he wanted to keep walking. During the entire photoshoot, he kept pulling me away from the bush and the wasp. My success feels even better because of the “Bentley” circumstances.
