Suburban Geese Adapting To Their Environment
Two Canada geese are adapting to their suburban environment, remaining unfazed by traffic and human presence. They have acclimated to their surroundings to such an extent that they have built a nest and are in the process of hatching their eggs in this busy area. These geese have learned to thrive in a suburban setting.
Suburban wildlife is a perfect example of the interrelationship between humans and wildlife. Both adapt to each other’s presence. We can learn to live with each other, respecting each other’s “territory” and preserving the balance of nature. These two geese are at home; they coexist easily with their human neighbors while preparing to welcome babies into the natural world.
